Quarterback Competition- When teams have big competition at the quarterback spot it is a receipt for wins and points in the preseason. The rationale here is that when you have at least two players fighting to win a spot and it is even better when you have three or more players fighting for spots. They all will try an establish themselves as the ‘one.'
DENVER BRONCOS - What is there to say about this team? Yes, they ran into a defensive buzz-saw in the Super Bowl. From their first snap, you knew it was going to be a long night. No surprise for us there as we were all over Seattle though. We know that barring injury, no team is stopping Manning. The guy has two monster pass catchers in Demaryius and Julius Thomas. Wes Welker just produces numbers.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS - I will be the first to say I thought these guys overachieved the last 2 seasons with Luck. But I was wrong. It isn't overachieving when you are talented. I think the defense gets by with a little smoke and mirrors, but the offense is legit. Luck is a great leader and the team follows him.
CINCINNATI BENGALS - In my eyes, this is a make or break year for HC Marvin Lewis. The Red Rocket has taken this team to the playoffs the last few years. It is time for them to get over the 1st round hump and the pieces are in place. AJ Green is primed to really take his game to the next level. Marvin Jones caught 10 TDs last year. I like Gresham at TE. The backfield is stacked with Benjarvis Green (trade rumors)
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS - These guys have 11 straight 10+ win seasons. I tried betting against them last year winning this division and failed. You would think they would be as good are better with the addition of Revis to bolster the secondary. Add in their young LBs getting better, plus Vince Wolfork back from injury,
So it isn't even July yet, but that won't stop me from coming out with some NFL Regular Season Win Total prop bets. I did a radio show about a month ago when the lines first started to creep out, and I waited a bit before posting on the website. Although it is really never to early to talk NFL, I just felt like the season never really ended with the late draft.
